Hey Jackie! They are called flourishes, I use my silhouette to cut them out. You can also get a manual die cutter from quickutz it's called a revolution and you can buy different dies of flourishes. I love them!

I've gotten offers to publish my work, but it didn't seem worth to me because the magazines seemed to be the only ones to benefit from it. Meaning they refuse to publish contact info along with it, and you're basically giving your ideas away for free. (which I do anyway, but they make money off it!)
Plus, if you use certain company's products that they don't advertise for they ask you to replace it or they reject it. That's just from the few I have dealt with. I really should look into others. Thank you for comment!
Very nice, I also like to sketch my layouts first. Thank you for posting the layout on the blog. And Marion, you should publish your work, a lot of people will see your work and enjoy it besides it is nice to be recognized.
