A very happy update!

I feel so relieved! I got my pathology report back and was happy to find out that the masses I brought in did not have any fetal tissue or placenta tissue which is very good news. So, we don't why I bled or passed the clots but lately I haven't had much bleeding just minimal spotting. This may be the norm for awhile.

Garett did get me a fetal Doppler so I could listen to the baby every day and he/she is still going strong! If you could see the smile on my face every time I hear it you would probably laugh at how love sick I look. I'm smiling as I write this right now lol!

I've been resting a lot, haven't left the house much but I think after this week I will be able to do more. Nausea at night has come back which is strange so I've been unable to sleep well, so I've been painting again.

Since I've been on bed rest I've also been working on my book and I'm so excited about that, my goal this year is to finally finish it. I'm actually working on a second book as well on mixed media painting, but that is only in the beginning stages. You guys know me, I always have to be doing something!

Anyway, I wanted to thank all of you for being there and for me and for all of the kind words. It's very comforting hearing your own experiences, it really makes me feel like I'm not alone in this. Thank you so much!

Marion, this the best news!! I will keep the prayers coming for you and the little one!! I don't like that you are on bed rest but I am SO excited for your book!!! And a second book!!!! Well, take your time and get plenty of rest. I think it's fantastic that you're listening to the baby. My husband got a stethoscope and although I mostly heard my stomach instead of the baby, it was the most comforting thing ever. Lots of love to you and your family and I will pray the nausea goes away!! Now I am going to do a happy dance over the good news!!

Great news to hear the baby is fine. When I read this I remembered my last 2 pregnancies and how difficult and scary pre-term labor was. I was on bed rest for 18 weeks with my now 17 year old. And 4 with with my twin girls who were born @32 weeks along. They are now healthy 13 year olds.

Take it easy and get lots of rest. No heavy lifting!! It can be scary but think positive and all will be well.

I am so happy for you to hear this good news. It is nerve wrecking and I am sure you are doing everything possible to do all the things your doctor ordered. Take it easy and think of the wonderful miracle growing in your belly. I have reached week 20 by now but I am still nervous after all the trouble we had! Big hugs and hang in there

Bed rest is one of the hardest things to have to do! It's horrible all the headaches and such you can get from sitting there, but it is always better safe than sorry! Thank goodness nothing is wrong! When I was pregnant with my son I got my period for the first four months, so did my mother, and my cousins. The doctor said it was impossible, but it has happened to all of us and we carried our babies to full term. I pray you have a wonderfully healthy baby and that the rest of your pregnancy isn't spent in bed!

Congratulations on your new addition!
