Helmar Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! So, I worked so hard to do a video of my project, and tonight as I was going to upload it I notice my video camera is gone! Yes missing! Apparently, Garett took it with him to the Christmas parade! So When he gets home tomorrow I will have to upload it then :( until then I took some photos of my project! It's an altered note card box!

I took some antique book pages and tore them up into small pieces. Then I took some Designer Acid Free Glue by Helmar and mixed a generous amount with water and a bit of white acrylic paint. I then covered the box with the mixture and applied the pieces of book pages covering the entire box. Lastly I coated the entire project with the remaining mixture. By doing this it created a very thick, hard, washed effect. I love it and you have to try it!

When it was finally dry I used some Helmar Scrap Dots to glue all of my embellishments on!

Be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs you visit for a chance to win some fabulous prizes! Also you'll want to check out the Helmar facebook and make sure you "Like" them! Your next hop will be to Michelle Wallace's Blog! Enjoy!
